In this section we have put together a range of information on numerous species and on recording sightings as well as answers to basic questions. Thus you will for example find suggestions on the best time to look for species that are difficult to confirm such as European Honey Buzzard or  and in which habitats a search proves promising. Or we point out how to record House Sparrows and Italian Sparrows on the southern side of the Alps, especially if you have observed hybrids. You will also learn why we would like to have details of the Eurasian Skylark in areas in the Swiss lowlands with numerous singing males and how to record this information.
